Volunteer Requirements
It is SWLL policy and that of Little League and Wall Township, that all volunteers must be properly screened and approved. The SWLL Safety Officer will post a list of approved coaches on our website.
Anyone who will be on the field with our players must complete the process outlined below.
- Registration
- Check off the volunteer box while registering your child. Although, you do not need to be a parent to volunteer.
- Application
- All volunteers must fill out the Volunteer application form.

- The application must be completed every year.
- Once complete email the forms to security@SouthWallLittleLeague.com
- Please note: YOU MUST INCLUDE YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NO, PHONE NUMBER and a copy of a VALID ID (drivers license), without these items we cannot process your application.

- Wall Township Parks and Recreation Background Check
- Please click the link below to complete the Wall Township background check (it takes roughly 2 minutes):
- Safety Class
- The volunteer must attend Safety Training. There are two options:
- Rutgers Volunteer Safety Class - Currently nothing scheduled for Wall Twp
- SWLL strongly recommends taking this course as the certification is good for life.

- LOCATION: Wall Municipal Building / Community Room - 2700 Allaire Road Wall, NJ 07719
- FEE: $30.00 per coach
- PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED! LIMITED SPACES!

- Wall Township Safety Training - March 9th, 2023 @ 6pm at Wall Intermediate School
- There is no cost for this training and it will be valid for 2 years.
- Rutgers Volunteer Safety Class - Currently nothing scheduled for Wall Twp
- The volunteer must attend Safety Training. There are two options:
- CDC CONCUSSION COURSE
- Every year you will need to take the CDC Concussion Course and submit your certification of completion to Safety@SouthWallLittleLeague.com.
- ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST TAKE THE CONCUSSION TRAINING, REGARDLESS IF YOU HAVE TAKEN THE RUTGERS SAFETY CLASS.
The guidelines we follow for background checks and safety are dictated by NJ State statute, Township ordinance and Little League regulation.
